Lisboa – BaixAnima consists of street entertainment such as music, dance, theater, circus, and sport in the traditional shopping district Baixa/Chiado and wins over residents and visitors to its attractions. BaixAnima takes place in the open air and it’s all free. Programs for these events will be at your disposal in all the tourist information points.

Cascais (Lisboa region) – Cascais Summer Festival - This festival has live entertainment nightly along the coastal pathway linking Cascais to Estoril. Firework displays are another regular highlight.

Estoril (Cascais – Lisboa region) – Estoril Jazz - Also known as Jazz Summer’s Day attracts the great names in the world of jazz. At the Palmela Auditorium in Cascais, there is a packed program that brings in thousands of jazz fans.

Lisboa – Beer Festival in the Castelo de São Jorge – 4th editionApart from the panoramic views over the city, which are undoubtedly some of the best, this event marks the beginning of the summer festivals in Lisboa. It is a recreation of the medieval times. You will find entertainment, gastronomy, a rich Portuguese music program, handicrafts and... gallons of beer. www.centralcervejas.pt
Lisboa– Optimus.hype@meco – 4th editionThis festival features a great variety of music with big international artists in Herdade Cabeço da Flauta in Meco on the south bank of the river. It goes on from dusk to dawn.
Mação (Lisboa region)– Feira Mostra (Fair & Showcase)This fair focuses on economic activities, handicrafts, and gastronomy.
Óbidos (Lisboa region) – Medieval Market - A historical showcase in the Castle of Óbidos recreates a medieval atmosphere. There will be horse tournaments, medieval shows, and a handicrafts exhibition, as well, as a parade featuring the king and the queen.
Palmela (Lisboa region) – International Street Entertainment FestivalStreet entertainers promote quality street art in Palmela.
Pombal (Lisboa region) – Festas do Bodo – local festival
Setúbal (Lisboa region) – Feira de Santiago – local fair
Sintra (Lisboa region) – Feira do Artesanato de Sintra (The Handicrafts Fair of Sintra)
Vila Franca de Xira (Lisboa region)– Festas do Colete Encarnado (The Red Waistcoat Festival) - This is the most important festival in Vila Franca de Xira and it celebrates the “campino” (a sort of Portuguese cowboy of the Ribatejo). The festival derives its name from the traditional red waistcoat of the “campino”. The festival’s program includes a running of the bulls, and a showcase of horses. There will be fireworks displays, livestock riding contests, a boat procession, a regatta on the Tejo, and regular feasting on sardines. The high point of the festival is on Saturday when the festivities will last until dawn.
Monsaraz (Alentejo region) – Monsaraz – Museu Aberto (Open Museum) - In the historic village of Monsaraz, this important cultural event occurs only once a year and includes exhibitions, concerts, traditional dances, theater, and a showcase of handicrafts.

Faro (Algarve region) – Festa e Feira da Senhora do Carmo (traditional religious festival and market fair)
Faro (Algarve region) – Concentração Internacional de Motos do Algarve (Motorcycle rally) - This event brings thousands of “2-wheel” enthusiasts from various countries to the Algarve. There will be a parade of the most diverse motorcycles that will be, without a doubt, a sight not to be missed.
